Robert (Bob) J. Carr III is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER ™ and Accredited Investment Fiduciary who has been helping plan sponsors and participants make informed decisions regarding their qualified plans and retirement needs for over 30 years.
Bob’s firm is committed to being an advocate for plan sponsors – helping them establish and maintain a process to help fulfill their fiduciary responsibilities, and provide plan participants with a cost efficient platform that gives them the best opportunity to pursue their retirement goals.
Bob is also a Investment Advisor Representative with Resources Investment Advisors*. In 2006, Bob created R.J. Carr III & Associates, a Registered Investment Advisor, to help individuals with their financial planning and investment management needs
Bob and his wife Janet, have three daughters. They spend most of their leisure time with their daughters. Bob also volunteers time to his church and to the seniors program, “Meals on Wheels”. His passion is playing golf, and he enjoys theatre, sporting events, snow skiing, traveling and reading.
In 2001, Kevin Carr, Operations Manager brought extensive client relationship and servicing experience to Bob’s practice from his years at Vivendi-Universal and R.L. Polk Co where he was a Sales Manager and Client Relationship Representative respectively. As a key client contact Kevin strives to provide a high level of service for any of the firm’s clients who make special requests regarding administrative and research items. Additionally, Kevin’s experience and expertise with computer systems allows him to manage all aspects of technology within their offices plus work on specialized client related projects.
Kevin is a Wayne State University graduate with both a M.B.A and B.S. in Business Administration. Kevin’s securities registrations include Series 6 and 63, which are held with Triad Advisors.
Over the years, Kevin has given back to the community with his involvement in a number of Detroit-area charities. He is currently the secretary of the Shrine High School Dads’ Club. Some previous board positions he has held over the years include past President and Treasurer of the Shrine Grade School and Academy Dads’ Club and Member of the Shrine Grade School Advisory committee at The National Shrine of the Little Flower Church.
Kevin and his wife Kelly enjoy supporting both his son and daughter in their numerous activities. Whether that be watching his son play baseball, basketball or running cross-country, or visiting their daughter at college. Kevin also enjoys sporting events, snow skiing, travel and working out.
